45,000 Branded Products, Nine Items, One Coordinated Event Program

NYPD

Nine products at 5,000 units each for the NYPD's Keeping Families Safe campaign — held to one campaign identity across nine different materials, shapes and imprint areas.

The nine campaign products, each shown in purple and white and branded NYPD Keeping Families Safe: cooler bag, carabiner, credit card sanitizer spray, first aid kit, flashlight key ring, pen, pencil, and Slinky 68 and Slinky 100 coils. 5,000 units of each, 45,000 pieces in total.

Challenge

Nine products, 5,000 units each, all carrying one campaign identity — and every one of them a different size, shape, material and printable area.

A logo that sits well on a cooler bag does not translate to a pen, a carabiner, a flashlight or a credit-card sanitizer spray. Each needs its own artwork treatment, and each treatment is a chance for the campaign to drift, until what arrives is nine unrelated promotional products that happen to share a color.

The event date was fixed, so nine separate production runs had to converge on it at once.

Solution

Artwork and imprint requirements were coordinated per product rather than applied uniformly, with placement and specifications prepared for each item's own decoration area. Where a supplied logo already worked, it was left alone — the cooler bag ran with the original artwork unadjusted rather than redrawn for the sake of consistency.

The assortment was produced in a coordinated purple-and-white palette against the supplied Keeping Families Safe identity, which is what holds nine different objects together as one campaign.

Monarch73 ran the program end to end: product sourcing, artwork and pre-production review, decoration across several materials and formats, nine 5,000-unit production runs, quality control on branding and imprint consistency, then packing and logistics to bring the separate runs together as one delivery ahead of the event.

Result

45,000 pieces across nine product categories, delivered as one coordinated program: 5,000 each of cooler bags, carabiners, credit card sanitizer sprays, first aid kits, flashlight key rings, pens, pencils, Slinky 68s and Slinky 100s.

The assortment mixed practical items — first aid kits, sanitizer sprays, cooler bags, flashlight key rings — with everyday giveaways, so attendees had several ways to take the campaign home rather than one.

A large event usually means merchandise from several categories, each with its own manufacturer, production requirements and timeline. Running it as one program gave the NYPD a single point of contact instead of nine schedules to reconcile.

The team at Monarch helped us with our outreach campaign. Very professional and responsive.
